Seriously though the one I bought is brilliant!!! So whoever buys it shouldn’t be disappointed.

Sorry, Wapping, if you've had this message before. I'm new to this site and finding the whole thing baffling. How do you post a message, for gawd's sake. It doesn't tell you in FAQ!Wapping said:

GSA tank bags for trip to Georgia

Perhaps I could take this opportunity to appeal to everyone for a view on tanks bags for a GSA.
I'm about to set off on a solo trip to Georgia, via Switzerland, former Yugoslavia, Greece, Turkey etc (avoiding the mountains with the weather now closing in). I've got to take a bit of stuff with me. I've got the BMW panniers, I've got Ortlieb Rack Pack bags on top of the side panniers, but I'm struggling with the bag tank choice. The BMW item looks good, but it's pricey and a bit flash. The best of the rest seems to be the Cordura expandable item listed on Nippy Normans site for £99. A snip?!
Any views on tank bags would be welcome.
I'm not a very experienced rider and don't want something too 'in the way'.
Of course, I'll be pretty experienced by the time I get to Geo...
Any other gems also appreciated.

I'm not hugely experianced, and I'm sure others will have other opinions (no shortage of them on this site 
)....
If you're just on a tour you've already got enough storage, so possibly a smallish tankbag for your important bits and bobs (wallet, passport camera, etc) with a clear top for a map.
If, on the other hand you're off ice climbing and skiing then you may need a tad more storage....

I'm sorry to hit on you and be thick, but I've scanned all the obvious places and the FAQs and I still cant work out how to create a new thread....! I'd like to ask the site about tank bags... but how do I create a fresh question with the appropriate title...? At the moment my questions are buring in this thread...
