Had an 1150 for four years ,wanted to get a 1200 just because I wanted a change. The 1150 was faultless and just got better as the miles went on.
I read all the tales of woe on this site and kept putting it off ,but took the plunge a few months ago.

So far coming up to 5000 miles I havent added a drop of oil, cant find any false neutrals, never jumps out of gear nor reluctant to engage,no warning lights coming on in fact bloody marvelous.

To all of you hesitating because of tales on this site ,just ignore them and take the plunge, you wont regret it.

PS To my dealer, and you know who you are, hope this isnt tempting fate.

Makes a nice change!

Good to here your happy with it and touch wood had no problems.
Had a few probs but all seem sorted now. Mines 2 year old with 11000 miles and gets better with age. Been out to the yorkshire dales this morning ace ride always reminds me why i bought it in the first place. Keeps up or runs rings round most stuff but is comfy and characterful too!!
Still messing about trying to find the best sporty road tyre for it though........

Glad you made the change then to the 1200?

Lets hope it proves that they are not all bad, never had a problem with mine and it's nearly 3 years old
