1200GS low seat anyone

Anyone got a low seat for a 1200GS that they might swap for a new standard height seat or have one for sale at the right price?

I have a low Seargent seat but the spring in the back of the seat is becoming uncomfortable - probably the foam around it compressing down - so I will have to have it looked at

Either I'm shrinking with age or the standard seat that came with the bike and I never used is getting higher from sitting in the attic

A relation of mine has his own upholstery business based in walkinstown. He was having a look at my seat on my 1150 for me the other day and said it would be handy enough to recover or lower the foam if needed so if you don't get an offer on change of seat and want to take the upholstery road let me know and I will give you his number.

Thanks, that would be great, the only othere places I know of to get seat work done are in the North or Cork, Walkinstown is very handy. If I was going down that route I'd look to have gel pads fitted as the amount of padding on the low seat is pretty minimal

I'm going to see what Seargent or Nippy (where I bought it) has to say about the Seargent seat and take it from there.
