Attemmpted to fit Pyramid hugger to 06 12gs with Mic anakees tyres but fouled tire on outer shoulders on both sides of tire, any fixes

Pyramid hugger bugger

I fitted a P H to my 04 GS over a year ago and have had no clearance problems with Mic Anakees at all. If you have managed to line up the fixing holes ok then I must assume that you may have a faulty product as there is only one way to fit it.
A fellow GS owner says that he did have some clearance problems at first but was able to ease the fit gently by hand. I'm not suggesting you try this but there is a bit of give/spring in the ally support bracket that may let you see if its possible. Then cross fingers and give it some thrutch.

Good luck.

I had problems with mine fouling the RHS of the tyre. A little "persuasion" seemed to cure it :thumb

I had the same issue with the right side of the mich Anakee fouling on the hugger edge, I resolved by slipping in 2 more spacers/washers on the forward most bolt fixing, this gave equal clearence both sides. :thumb

When i go to the Pyramid site I find no trace of a hugger for the 1200???? :eek

Am I looking in the wrong place? :eek

They weren't on the website when I got mine. Just give them a ring. Only black plastic or carbon fibre at that time.

Performance feedback, made absolutely no difference to the best much spreader in the land.

Take off the BMW mudguard and all your problems will be gone. Not designed to have both fitted at the same time. :thumb
