anyone know how many special editions were imprted to the uk? not seen any up for sale second hand yet, I guess owners all happy.

500 in answer to your question. very happy with my one, nearly run in at 12000 miles.

That is useful to know (the 500) I am happy with mine - 6k service on Saturday so a little bit to go before it is run in.

I am thinking of selling my SE later in the year. It's my 3rd 1200GS and certainly the best so far. The only reason I am considering moving it on is because I have too many bikes, plus my airhead would get more use. When/if I do sell the new owner will have a VAT invoice so the m/c could be put down as a business tool for the self employed.

Looking to replace tyres before touring this year and fitting a mudsling.
