just taken the plunge, after a lifetime on sportsbikes i've now got the plastic rockets out of my system.

ordered a new 1200 from bmw crewe. roll on march 1st.:P

Just done the same myself. Bloody fantastic:D

Don't know how you can waint 'till march though..........I couldn't.

not sure can wait

now just wishing the months away, after major surgery last year i was meant to be giving bikes up after 26 years!

we all know thats not possible:rolleyes:

the wifes not too pleased though, ho hum...

when do you get yours gs monkey, and i take it its not your first!

No, it is most definately my first!! Like you, been on sportsbikes and now I fancied a change.

I picked mine up a couple of weeks ago, so I've been enjoying the ride to work, even through the salt and shite covered roads.

I'm sure you'll be wishing the months away. Better get your Touratech catalogue on order, it'll probably arrive the same time as your bike!!

how you findin it after sportsbikes? no regrets?

its gettin you can't use a blade on the road anymore, too much interference from gov, plod, dogooders, makes you sick.

but good excuse for a change, a whole new worlds opened up(even if it is inhabited by a bunch of wierdo's:P :P :P

Every country seems to be the same. Why don't the women in our lives just get on with there own toys and leave us alone. I forgot they don't have toys. Every time I ask mine what would you like for a toy all I get is I don't know!!!

Enjoy your new bike.

I just had a spin on my adventure today. I'm just getting over my first taste of bad gout last Thursday night in my left foot. I could put up with any pain after the pain I had with gout.

women and toys

your right about the toys, the last one i bought for the wife was a buzzy little thing, thought it would give her hours of fun.

she threw the bloody thing back at me:D

Judging by the various posts, it looks like there are going to be a lot of xx05 gs' on March 1st. I do hope the weather is good that following weekend...

Anybody any idea how many have been sold thus far?
