1200GSA burning holes in piston's

Anybody had experience or heard of the later deliveries of 2007 1200 motors burning holes in the pistons

I have two bikes bought in Oct 2007 and both burnt holes in the cylinder heads

I understand that BMW had the mixture wrong on their injector programming and specially when riding in heat and dry conditions this problem becomes serious

Both these problems happened within 100km's and in heat of over 35 celcuis

BMW replaced both the cylinder heads and pistons but one bike again packed up within 1500 km's

I then got a SMS from one of the dealers stating that there is a software upgrade that needed to be done immediately on all 1200GS's

Anybody had this or know of someone that did - I would like to know
