Spoke to Dick this morning, the BMW system show a future place for a 1200Adv but that can still take plenty months to become reality, the 1200gs had spy pics atleast a year before the bike was launched and then it still took another 6 months to reach showroom floors. Currently there is nothing, not even a whisper from BMW. Really hope your wright , I can't wait

OK, but the R1200GS was a brand new concept, very different from the overweight slab of a mother. All BMW has to do with the Adv is to add a big tank and some tity boxes. How long does that take?

I am sure we will be seeing it in the flesh at a motor show (Birmingham is what I heard) in a matter of weeks - yes only on the dealer floors first qaurter/early 2006 but then all good things are worth the wait
