I had a test ride today of the 1200 Adventure!

I have to say that I think it is brilliant. I had hopes of it being too tall and unmanagable. Worth luck I swung my leg over it without any bother and could get both feet flat on the floor.

I felt stable and agile and much more planted at the front. The screen is a HUGE improvement on the standrad 12 and much better than the Sedcem screen as well. Visor up riding to about 70mph.

Off road it was a gem with great visibility and handling plus great protection (as standard) should the worst happen.

They (AJs) lent me the new Enduro helmet as well - greta piece of kit - one is now on order with my name on it.

As for the bike.....well It'll definately be my next bike. Anyone want to buy a 12GS?

Great off-road

Matt before he took a nasty spill that wrecked his head guards and put some nasty gashes in the heads themselves.

Any GPS coordinates for that great looking greenlane?

As for the bikes - first time I've 'seen' the GS and GSA side by side. Didn't realise that there was such a difference! Good looking bike (IMO).

Yeah it makes the standard on look more like a 650!

Parky will have co-ordinates for that greenlane (it's a very easy one). I have a loaner so no GPS on it.

It's a little roman road just off the B6265 (near Brimhan Rocks). It comes out just near the Skell Gil Bridge. On OS Explorer 298, it starts in 20/66 and finishes 18/68.
