1200RT - Fuel filler

Hi All

I've noticed today that when filling up I'm only able to get 20-21 litres in my supposedly 27 litre tank. I also notice that theres a rubber sleeve in the tank by the neck, similar to that on my 12GS a few years back.

I'm tempted to take it out as it seems to hinder getting the tank full.

Suggestions?

I,ve squeezed 25 liters into my 1200rt tank before, I can only assume you have 5 or 6 litres left when filling up, I,ve left the rubber part in place
