SMcGirr - I'll try and post some piccies, but there are a few at the link I posted above. My original 2007 UKGSer membership was deleted and now that I've re-registered there doesn't appear to be an albums & pictures facility in the user profile.
Stanley - Well done on the new purchase. As I said above, the price I've put on my bike is fully negotiable so I'm completely open to offers. I arrived at that price by scanning the classifieds, private and dealer bikes, with ages ranging from late 2005 to early 2007. The most expensive I came across was a June 2006 non-SE with 15,700 miles on the clock at Padgett's in Batley for £8,999, the cheapest was an April 2006 non-SE with 40,500 miles on the clock at F Cross & Sons in Donny for £5,495.
A 12-bike average for 2006 models (mostly non-SE) came out at £7,222 and 23,400 miles and that's how I derived the price for mine. On another thread Nevil280659 was looking at a 2005 14,500-mile private bike for around £6k, so a bit more would secure my newer bike with less miles and loads of extras.
In regard to your comment about ultra-low mileage possibly putting people off, there's not a lot I can do about that obviously.
