1250 GS spotlights advice please.

At least the aftermarket ones can be (1) transferred to your next bike easily, or (2) sold-on if you change your mind.
I think I may end up with the Denali / HEXCAN setup, undecided. Altho I like the idea of the extra safety, I'm not into looking like a 2-wheeled Christmas tree!
TBH I really do wish the Police would enforce Highway Code Rule 226 more strictly!

Bowker’s refitted mine from my 1200, supplied a new black switch (grey on the 1200). Did a good job.

Same setup, although my D4s are mounted higher. Confidence inspiring at night.
I didn't quite understand whether you had already ordered you bike and it's been built, or not, as even if it's been ordered but is still a couple of weeks away from build you can still option them to be factory fitted £370.
I can understand the attractiveness of denali set up, but I'm with Alan R on this, especially for the sleeker GS, rather than the GSA.

The advantages of the BMW spotlights over other makes are that they fit, they look like they fit, they work with can-bus, they come with a BMW warranty and they look like they fit."
In addition to the dedicated handlebar switch you also get a status light when on in the tft.

Just a reminder: BMW lights are not spotlights but foglights. They light up the road in a different manner than spotlights. Foglights spread the lights over a large cone and are of a lower intensity as they are meant to be used in fog conditions. Spotlights, on the other hand, are meant to light further and in a tighter cone spread.
Comparisons among BMW lights and other manufacturers as Denalli, Clearwater, Baja Designs, etc. should take this in consideration. Also, very important, is the light temperature that specifies the light colour.
