12v socket repair help

have cradle for quest but the end into the socket the top came off (screw on) and the innards are no more

where can i get it repaired??

Is it the Garmin bike cradle-n-charger you're trying to describe as the circuitry was in the cradle as I recall

Mark, will the tip of the charging lead screw out? On some leads it will and there is a fuse and spring in there, you might be able to bodge a repair from another lead.

That's what they called the car charger, with the speaker and transformer gubbins in there.

New ones nearly 50 quid or 37 quid chinese copies but if you go through the second draw down in the kitchen, you'll probably be able to salvage some bits from other car chargers and bodge up a fix

If it is the car charger then I have a spare cradle with plug attached you are welcome to. Might go out for a ride in the next couple of days and could drop it off

If Kritou can't sort you out, PM me........I have one of these that I will be using again from time to time, but I'm pretty sure I can frig up an alternative end-arrangement from odds and sods.....I must have a dozen car type plugs sitting around in odd boxes and drawers from over the years
