1300 GSA Screen position/adjustment

Anyone had a play around with using the additional screen mounting holes on the GSA? I was looking at buying a taller touring screen but notice there are second higher mounting points. And, yes, I could just go out to the garage and check.......but just wondered if anyone has tried.

You can move the screen into the upper holes, that's what they are for.

Moved mine up yesterday . Makes a slight difference . Now as good as my 1250 (which I really miss) bonding more with the bike now and service next week

I moved mine up on the 1300 gs made a difference when I had screen fully up on motorway. 30 second job to change it give it a go if not to your liking put it back.

Tried moving it up and it was better deflecting wind but am going for a Puig Touring screen

I moved mine up the weekend, better but still not good enough. I too amd going for the Puig touring screen.

I've got the factory large screen on my gsa (still on the low adjustment position for the bolts) - hugely impressed.

Way better than the 1250gsa screen - I can actually raise the screen electrically on the motorway & it doesn't flap about manically like the 1250 did.

I'm 6ft 2", and the wind protection is on a completely different level to the old bike.

I'm 6'1" and have put a Givi clear high screen on the bike and it's superb. Looks taller but I've got used to it. Best wind protection I've had on a GS.
