Get a motorbike instead.Which one would be the most reliable and easiest to look after regarding all home servicing.
He’s talking about a couple of generations on. A 103.Out of the three Harleys I had, it was my twin cam FXDX Super glide Sport that let me down. It had a camshaft bearing failure at approx 20,000miles IIRC, but it was a known problem on early models, as was cam chain tensioner issues on the early ones.
Thanks.Either can be reliable…or a bag of shit…down to previous care…. . No real difference in service at home. Both straightforward. Only thing with the Fi is you need more tech to do any “tuning”, but they don’t go “out of tune” really. … but you know all this, right?
I think Evo`s are silly prices because they are relatively rare. Thanks Clifton.I'd say 2014+ 1690 if you can. I think they had premature compensator wear resolved by then and most feel Rushmore's are then best of the Twin Cams, they certainly run the best. Otherwise any of the 103's.
