18 days to the alps

anybody just back from the swiss/italian alps is so was the majority alp passes open or still snowed in,weve 18 days to go hopefully they will be open

Clicking the link for Switzerland, most passes will be cleared by the end of the month. The Susten is usually one of the last to be open and is expected to be cleared by 11th June.

the weather has been completly shite in the last weeks with temps of about 6C at altitude of 300metres so i would expect this yeear the passes to be open slightly later than normal. Only the last days have been decent.

I attempted the Susten a couple of weeks ago, not surprisingly it was closed at the top, but well worth the double run over the clear section
