1960´s helmet

Helllo.

I’m rebuilding a 1960 BMW R50 for my wife and I need to find her an helmet.

I would like something with at least the 60’s look. I want a reasonable quality 3/4 helmet…

Any suggestion?

you could try SILVERMANS,they have retro style helmets ,dont know if the pudding basin style ,without the BS KITE MARK,is legal in portugal.
if it doesnt matter ,i would go for a davida ,pudding basin type ,i did use one on my sidecar ,in england for the period look . even though it wasnt street legal,it looked great.

If you go the Davida route, make sure the helmet is BS approved..many of his earlier ones weren't legal in the mighty GB

i think i mentioned that ,but saw from his avatar ,that hes posting from portugal ,and from my experience of spending a lot of time in that country ,is that there a bit more relaxed about ,bs marks ,and kite marks etc

What about the Bell RT Classic (nothing to do with a certain BMW bike) - they do it in matt or shiny black or white (or matt black with some logo stuff on it for some reason) . My mate Nick Noble stocks them and will deliver free to Portugal - look here.

Try searching under Scooter helmet - you will probably find more small / ladies helmets that way.
