Hi.

Bit of self indulgence here:augie

Just thought that seeing that my 1st IAM Associate Chris, passed his IAM Advanced test today:clap I'd crow about it.

Well done Chris, fellow GS rider (1150), top guy, I'm so proud of you, I'm awaiting that online:beerjug:.:thumb

Ye ha.

Mark

Well done Chris and well done Mark.:clap:clap:clap
When you consider the statistics -
"Motorcycle users account for almost a quarter of all road deaths (22%)... Fatality rates are around 40 to 60 times greater than the equivalent for car users." Source - BikeSafe leaflet, Alert Today ... Alive Tomorrow, Enjoy the Ride.
Anything that can improve upon these scary figures should be welcomed.

Well done to you both. I found that passing the IAM test was one thing but trying to pass on that knowledge to someone else was chuffing hard work. I could see what the associates were getting wrong easily enough, but for the life of me I couldn't put it into words well enough for them to improve much.
If either of the 2 associates I tried to observe about 4 years ago from the Sheffield group are out there I apologise for how rubbish I was. I know at least 1 of you went on to pass with a competent observer. Well done to anyone who can get a handle on observing.

Well done to you both :)

It's a good feeling when an Associate is successful - I hope you get many more of them!

Thank you both.

High Tower, your too hard on yourself, thanks for your input, keep the faith and message:)

Regards
Mark

Well Done

The 1st Asscociate is always the one you remember. The satisfaction on getting them through is great and you will never stop learning.

By the way I am a Senior Observer with Devon Advanced.

Keep up the good work.
