Hi all
Marianne & Collins from Trailriders wales are organizing a long distants trail ride around mid Wales on the 7th & 8th June.
The route will be suitable for all size trail & adventure bikes, they also have a number of trail bikes for hire.
The cost for there expert guiding on legal green lanes for the two days is £50.00 plus the cost of B&B on the Saturday night £50.00 approx.
A few beers and a curry on the Saturday evening should be a good weekend :thumb2

For more info go to www.trailrides-wales.com

Dose not look like any budding GS riders like getting there bikes wet and muddy.
Have a look at my ride report just posted 120mile trail ride, some of the lanes for the first day.

sounds like a good/affordable way to see some trails in wales.

As a taster maybe.
Joining the TRF for £45/year is even cheaper, and you can ride as many times as there is someone to show you the trails for free.
The money goes in to the fighting fund, enabling the TRF to challenge the many closures that the County Councils want to apply.

Apologies for the hijack, but I try to propmote the TRF when it's safe to do so..... ;)

Well I'm a paid up member of the TRF too, and I'm going. Looking forward to giving the new 1200 GSA WC a good spanking... :-) Riding up from London.

The £50 for the guiding & organisation from Trailrides Wales is good value, and further, will get lost in the total cost of the weekend.

(Just hope it doesn't rain too much and I don't end up in a ditch....which is what happened when I was last up there on a GS in 2009 !)

OH.... BOLLOX!!!!!

TRF member too!

I'm doing my bike safe training on saturday which was £50...
Would have prefered to have done this instead...

BOLLOX BOLLOX BOLLOX BOLLOX

Bikesafe is also a good thing to get done, either for confirmation that you're doing it right, or for helpful hints and tips to hone your existing skills.

Both options seem good value and fun (just did a 3 day camp/trail ride in north and mud wales, and the options and range around Ceredigion are suourb!)
