Stuck in SE Asia.....Thank you Covid 19
my laptop seems to be loosing the wifi connection on a very fequent basis however my anroid tablet locks on fine without any issues. I have noticed that on my laptop i have both the windows wireless program and the Dell wireless program running so think they may be conflicing with each other........ is this a posibility or nothing to do with the issue. I seem to recall a BT Engineer from Rawalpidi saying that only 1 of the programs should be running and the other disabled....... any thoughts or know how i can disable one of them to try andeliminate this as the cause for hanging all the time,

many thanks in advance :thumb2

unusually perceptive for a BT engineer.

you should just use one or the other.

Keep the dell one.
Goto Network icon, bottom right of screen. Right click it. Open Network & Sharing Centre. Manage network connections.
see whats going on in there.
If you have more than one wireless network connection/device they should both be in there.
Go to the one you want off and right click/disable.

It might not be that though.
There are lots of things using similar frequency to wifi like Cordless telephones. If you keep getting problems, try turning stuff like that off and see if it helps.
