2005 Dakar hebco decker centre stand, but lowered by 2" with kouba link? Any issues?

hi, I've had a look back at a few pages but can't see anything to answer my question. I'm going on a 1200 mile trip so wondered....

I have bought a 2005 Dakar with a kouba link 2" lowering kit fitted which makes it my height and one of the reasons I bought it.

I was wondering whether to fit the hebco decker centre stand to make chain maintenance, general maintenance easier.

But, I'm not sure if being lower would cause problems?

I suppose the other option is a rear padock stand?

Anyone fitted the centre stand with a lowering kit, anything that may be a problem?

Thank you.

Yes the stand does not lift the wheels high enough.
chances are the bike will roll off the stand.
or you need to put a piece of wood under the centrestand.
you would be better and cheaper with a used standard f650gs stand.:)
