2005 F650GS?

Hello I ,m a Rider of a xt225 with 22101 great dual sports miles, including 2500 ireland miles from atrip last year. and am thinking of the new f650gs! all i get from the f650.com site in the usa is whinning and bs. so can someone here give me some insite. is this a good bike to upgrade from my serow?:monkyswin

Fantastic

I had a Dakar for three years, went to Morocco on it, commuted like a demon, and generally had a great time looning around. They are great bikes, now on a 1150 Adv cos I wanted that bit more power for regular long trips.

Have you tried the Adventure Rider site?

There's a guy with the handle of "Flying Sctosman" who's got the previous model that's just been replaced. There's got to be lots of others too.

I can highly recommend an F650. Bought one for my wife just over 12 months ago and think it's a cracking little thing. it sounds as though the sort of riding you're doing would suit it down to the ground.

I don't know any specific F650 sites but for parts/accessories and so on try www.motorworks.co.uk or www.devonbmw.co.uk who are both really good and will have anything you could possibly want. All at lower than BMW prices (Not hard I know).
