2006 1200 gs aux socket failure.

Hi

After finding the aux socket on the left hand side under the seat not working ,l replaced it with a new one, only to find the plug from the bikes loom that plugs into the aux socket has a corroded and broken wire.

Called BMW and there seems to not be a replacement available. Can anyone suggest a fix, please?
