2008 Photo Rally

Dave
It went real well; good crack, good company but I,m knackered now.
Nice dry trip both ways.
What more could a man ask for?

The Dragon perhaps.

Thread sticked Gerry. :thumb2

I must make a better effort this year. :blast

Dellis has shown me up a few years running now. :o

very enjoyable night, thanks to all involved!

really looking forward to doing the photo rally again this year! good luck everybody!:thumb

Reports are coming in from my neighbours about the number of bikes around Glenstal Abbey. Some eejits have started already. GerryC will probably have the first Gold Award photos by the end of the week. FFS, relax, take a deep breath in and slowly out, You've months yet, don't panic.
By the way, there's a new bar in Murroe/Moroe, beside the petrol station, and it does lunch and bar food.
I'm only a couple of miles from Glenstal if any of you have a problem, call me on 086 0563636

That's a very generous offer Nud1e :D Did I mention I'm bringing the extended family on the Photo Rally this year ;)

Looks like another good one Gerry :thumb2 I'll have to make more of an effort to get to them this year as I only managed 9 or 10 last year :(

I thought you sold your dakar?

I'm going to take a few snaps too.

Cool, the dragon made the list! Do i get a finders badge of some sort? I'm guessing last year had a poor turnout because the summer was so poor

No finders badge but a big THANK YOU

89 entrants in 2007; 86 in 2006.

Will you be there for 2008; you'd get a badge then:thumb

It was a good piece. I can take no credit for the idea or the execution but thank you for the congrats. :bow

PS The programme itself was a little longer that the blog. It featured another gent from Cork famous for fuzzy photos. The programme is repeated tomorrow night [Wed] @ 10.45 pm.

The referene to the Lone Ranger and Tonto reminds me of a very old joke.
How the Ranger became Lone with Tonto at his side always puzzled me; any how they were out in the wild frontier lands, Tonto hops off his horse and puts his ear to the ground. He swivels his eyes up to the Ranger and says "buffalo come".
"My amazing Indian friend" gasped the Ranger "how can you possibly tell" [the Ranger was given to breathlessness]
Tonto replies "ear stuck to ground".

Stick with the old jokes :rob:mmmm

Good job Susan wasn't doing the rally. She'd have had bother finding Greenore in Co Meath. :)

Good stuff Gerry. :thumb2

Aidan
I asked her to say that. I was wondering if Daithi would spend weeks looking for it.
