2009 GSA Paint colours?

Saw a 'mint' 2009? GSA @ Dealer. though it was alpine white which I didnt think was available for that year? only 2007?
Can anyone tell me where I could get VIN Nos so I could check the year of manufacture?or tell me the colours avail?

He's looking for £8k (full luggage & all the add ons ESA ABS ASC) which I think is a bit high? for 31K I am a little suspicious as it is in exremely good nik! no corrosion & all in very good condition!

Thoughts please ?

Here's a bit of advice - If all the chassis / engine numbers check out then don't let the colour of those two panels stop you from buying it. If it's otherwise in lovely condition then it's unlikely that the colour change is due to anything other than personal preference.
I do many many 1200 colour changes!

ESA and ASC was only available from 2008 MU onwards.

My 09 gsa was silver and black when I bought it but I managed to get a black set of panels so it's now fully black.

I bought the right bike in the "wrong" colour. It was better than buying the wrong bike in the right colour. I bought used panel in the right colour later on.

31k isn't anything to worry about. It should be nicely run in by then. My 43k 1200GS is much nicer to ride than my 6k gs when I bought it.

My 06 GSA is Desert Yellow done as a "special order" so they can be any colour.

Don't worry about the colour as a lot get changed to suit. If it's got no corrosion at 31k it's obviously been well looked after adf remember you are paying dealer price.

If the bike feels right, negotiate a deal and ride away with confidence.

No white wasn't a 2009 colour....however, I did change my 2009 to white (with red and black seat) to copy the 2007 colour as I thought it was the best combo...very easy to do. Mine was mint when I traded it in....I wonder?

8k is way too much. As others don't worry about the colour.

Mk II was not well finished so carefully check paint on all the usual areas. Any blebs under the paint will be the start of worse to come so negotiate.

Mine is an 09 SE. Came with wire wheels and all the gadgets, oh and is Alpine White.
