Anyone else had this issue, i wanted to adjust the gear lever down one spline and now the side stand spring catches, is there a way around this other than moving the lever back up one??

Cheers
Mark

On my 2010 adv the rubber end piece of the lever can be adjusted without having to move the whole lever.there is a grub screw to loosen and then rotate the end piece on its eccentric.I don't know if its the same on standard gs :beerjug:

I see what you mean. So I could just slide the rubber peg backwards along the groove?...

If so, I'm guessing I just need to loosen the torx bolt underneath?..

Don't think it slides along that groove (which is more of a slot really). If you slacken the bolt, you can then rotate the tip of the pedal. As it is mounted off-centre, rotation provides a degree of fore-aft and up-down adjustment.
