The fuel gauge has become erratic since a few software issues. Majority of issues (ABS not working) were resolved by re writing the original dealer installed.
However first time since I bought the bike from new the gauge is up and down like a fiddlers elbow. Flicking between empty and 200 mile range!
Are there any fixes known to resolve it?
I have checked the ohms reading from the sender unit and this increases when the float is moved, I have checked for obstruction and anything that may fowl its movement, cleaned and made sure the pins in the connector are connecting.
