Hi,

I'm new to the GS arena and could do with a simple heads up on which models / years of GS & GSA have interchangeable parts with a 2013 90th edition.
I am thinking about going for de-catted headers and I've seen plenty advertised but know what years or models I should be looking for.

Thanks in advance,

Ty

Thanks. That helps already as I was looking at 2009 bits.

If they are the same year are the GS & GSA parts like headers interchangeable?
I realise there are some differences with suspension and pannier rails that make it the adventure variant but did that have a knock on effect to engine peripherals?
Up until now I've been working on the assumption the GSA is essentially a taller GS with more ground clearance.

Engines are the same. They went to the Twin Cam motor in 2010. Header pipes and engine parts are the same. Fuel tank, suspension units and wheels are the most noticeable differences but are interchangeable. If in doubt it's always best to ask :thumby:

If you do not want the exhaust flap valve you can fit full exhaust systems from older models. Headers and cans are interchangeable. The later models had a gap for the valve and might have different bend angles between Y joint and can inlet. But the exhaust mounting points are all the same.
