2013 Tour

Hi folks.

In the process of planning a group tour for next year. This time round, I'm breaking from tradition and not heading to Spain, but want to ride from Wales to the Czech Rebublic via the Ardennes area of France, crossing the top of Belgium into Germany and across to the Czech Rebublic.

looking to do this as a round trip over 16 days - my question, has anyone done any roads in the areas we're traveling and advise whats hot and what to avoid at all costs?

Did a similar trip and on to Poland a few years back. I went via Hackenberg Fort in the Maginot Line where my father-in-law (in the Highland Division) was when the Germans broke through to the north. See http://www.bunkertours.co.uk/the_maginot_line.htm GPS: N49 20.550 E6 22.198 Some great fortifications to explore both above and below ground.

Also had a night in Colditz Castle.
