At beginning of November I paid less than £500 more than that for a 2014 RT LE with 12 months road tax and 26 miles on the clock (was advertised at 19 miles but by the time they had ridden it to fill it up with fuel the mileage had risen by 7 miles). It was delivered to me from Edinburgh for no additional cost by the dealer who also did a good deal for me on a colour coded (Quartz Blue) top box and a Nav 5 and got a good deal on both. Previous owner, who could never have ridden it, was Adrian Roderick the ex Head of BMW Motorrad UK. So yes there are deals out there.

sounds like your bike was one of the display bikes they have used around europe…my friend also bought one with around 10 miles on it in black full stereo etc ..was also owned by Mr A Roderick ….enjoy your bike ,they are great machines

That's a bike I made enquiries about, but was told it was sold, even though it was on the web, they also told me they had some more arriving from BMW UK. I gave up looking after that, after riding my 2013 RT to Spain and back, I came to the conclusion the old bike suited me better, though I will be trying the RS.
