2014 RT LC brake fluid reservoir slightly leaking.... did anybody else have this?

my 2014 RT LC has a very small leak from the brake fluid reservoir.
it is not dripping down but i can wipe a small amount of fluid from the seam between the cap and reservoir.

did anybody have the same issue please?

I had this just prior to the service, according to CW's its a common occurrence and just needs the seal replacing. Should be a warranty item.

Same thing happened on my Twin Cam RT, combination of over filling and seal not working. Only noticed it when the black paint started to peel off the metal cover. Replaced under warranty. Keep the fluid level just above the minimum line.

I had it on my GS LC. AJ changed the cap and seal under warranty.

yea had both mine replaced under warranty on my 2014 GSA TE

update regarding the above, dealer is going to replace both brake fluid and clutch fluid reservoir caps, even though there is no leak from the clutch fluid reservoir.

mine did it - then stopped after about 6,000 miles.

Maybe all the fluid had leaked out. Now it's been serviced, it'll probably start again...

I just went to the dealer and he replaced the brake reservoir cap and gasket only.
the clutch fluid reservoir never leaked but I was under the impression (I must have read it here or another forum) that they should actually replace both brake and clutch reservoir lids please?

what did your dealer change, both or only the leaking side?

They just did the lid+gasket on my 2013 GS as far as I know - it fixed the problem.

i also noticed that where the cap and reservoir meet is still not looking like 100% dry and free of fluid.
maybe i just need to clean it up and monitor if this new cap and seal really sorted it for me.

did anybody have the reservoir itself replaced as well under warranty please?
