Hi
I rode a demonstrator for best part of 80 miles and loved it....Ordered mine...got caught up in the whole recall issue...don't even get me started on that...and now am riding my RT1200 wc pretty much every day. I have ridden abs and non abs bikes from FZR1000's..gsxrs...rt1150....you name it over the last 30 years plus.
I have an issue with massively inconsistent rear brake pedal feel to the point where I haven't used it for the last 1000 miles...simply don't trust it. Sometimes it feels totally pumped and completely wooden..other times it works progressively and as I would expect it...but it also has a tendency for the rear brake pedal to physically drop from beneath my foot depending on how and when the front and rear brakes are applied...it only moves down about 1mm but it is very disconcerting ..like a valve has turned on a let the pressure out..It also feels notchy sometimes , like the abs is kicking in, but at speeds where there is absolutely no need for the abs to be anywhere near activated. My dealers being good about it and it is due to go back in soon so their Tech can take it home and really try it out..but he has ridden it once and said that he couldn't find anything wrong with it.
Have any of you had similar problems...I'm sure my dealer will get to the bottom of it but I am interested in others views as to what it might be.
Cheers
