2014 RT Right hand glove box.

On the Audio Equipped version there's a lockable space on the right for your phone, Ithing or other MP3 player together with charging socket.
On the NON audio version there is an inaccessable empty compartment - which I would like to use.
Anyone found a useful way of converting it into storage space?
I'm sure the Yanks will have done it...

I've found that annoying too.

I've looked at the parts needed to change it over, but realised the cost would be more than I could justify, as it would involve another lock and in my case this would have to be set to the key-less ignition.

As you don't need the 'inner' for your idiot phone, I wondered if you would still end up fabricating a liner for the base anyway?

I'm sure there will be something available on the Wonderdick soon.

I came up with about £125 for audio part, but only £25 for a replacement non-audio box/compartment.

If the current part could be modified in some way....

I'll be watching the Yanks and Nippy and Wonderlichkt
