Bike had one owner from new , a lady Equine vet from Edinburgh who only used the bike in the summer and mainly on a two week tour of Europe each year
It has full main dealer service history and was fully serviced , had new tyres fitted and a new headlamp (old one was cracked due to someething hitting it) in May 2025 at a cost of £1381
This bike had an attempted theft in August 2025 and they smashed both the ignition barrel and the top yoke
The bike was taken to John Clarke BMW Motorrad in Dundee who assessed it and due to unavailability of parts at that time and the spiralling costs of a hire vehicle the insurers decided not to repair it and sent it to auction in late September 2025 . The bike however has a clean V5 with no category marker and a vehicle check comes back clear - see picture below
I bought the vehicle in October 2025 and fitted a new ignition barrel and brand new top yoke (eye watering expensive) and had the lock coded to the ignition
Bike was then fully serviced by me at 15642 miles :
Oil & Oil Filter
Valves Inspected (all within tolerance)
Fuel Filter
Coolant system drained and flushed and filled with Genuine BMW Coolant
Brake Calipers stripped and cleaned , pistons removed and seals changed and sytem bled with new brake fluid
DID Chain and sprockets fitted
Front forks stripped and checked , rebuilt with new oil seals , dust seals and oil
Extras fitted :
BMW OEM lockable SATNAV mount
BMW OEM Hanguards c/w extenders
BMW OEM Crash Bars
BMW OEM Alarm with two fobs
BMW OEM Headlight Guard
BMW OEM Sump Guard
Quadlock wireless phone charger with vibration mount
Frame Guards
Rear Hugger
Auxillary lights mounted on OEM brackets
Current mileage is 15989 miles and MOT runs until May 2026
Bike is registered in my name
Full BMW VARIO luggage - 2 x panniers and top box all coded to ignition keys with genuine inner bags
Also included is a genuine BMW tank bag and a standard seat
Bike comes with two keys plus the plastic key and the owners manual
Critair certificate and sticker included plus a plastic A4 wallet full of receipts
Even by my demanding standards thsi bike is in excellent condition , rides fantastic and has no faults
Bike will have a full tank of petrol so all ready for the new owner to ride away and enjoy ;-)
