Munich . For model 2017 flow some facelift in the BMW Motorrad program. The models can be ordered in the new configuration from August 2016 all BMW Motorrad dealers.
Technical changes to the liquid-cooled Boxer models.
For model year in August 2016, the motors of the liquid-cooled Boxer models in addition to the introduction of the EU-4 measures and the statutory side reflector learn additional technical amendments.
As with the R 1200 GS Adventure now get all liquid-cooled Boxer models a shock absorber on the transmission output shaft. At the same time a revised shift drum actuation, transmission shafts and their storage to be used. An OBD warning light in the cockpit carries the EU4 standards bill.

In addition to the listed technical changes, the instrument cluster of the R 1200 GS gets a revised design. The range of optional accessories includes a new engine guard which allows the assembly of the cylinder protective covers available as optional accessories.

In addition to the listed technical changes, the instrument cluster of the R 1200 GS Adventure is replaced by a revised design. For Model 2017 does not apply to the R 1200 GS Adventure, the color ocean blue metallic matt.
New special model BMW R 1200 GS Adventure "Triple Black".
"Triple Black" - the now already traditional name is back program at this special model of the BMW R 1200 GS. BMW Motorrad therefore meets the wishes of many customers and brings the impressive enduro in a virtually pure black color scheme.
Tank means cover, storage compartment lid and front fender in Black Storm metallic and tank side faces in Dark slate matt metallic gives the legendary enduro emphasize the masculine charisma. The German registered home made Triple Black I saw at Ijmuiden was much nicer looking . Crashbars and Pannier rails /carrier were black as was the frame , exhausts and Akro silencer, cylinder head covers . Paint was all black and the aluminium tank was a semi gloss black and it had a dark tinted screen. Black Kahedo seats fitted
Forgot to take any pictures but I am almost 100% that the front suspension arm was also black and the dark grey parts around the beak were also black.

That is not a factory bike. It is a Martin special edition - I have been to their shop and they look great (well worth a visit). The seats are Baglux / Bagster and the can is AC Schnitzer (Remus Hexcone). However, to me it looks a bit too black and needs a contrast.
One I saw had different make (but still all black) seats and black headers but basically that was he look, much nicer than Munich's attempt
