Can anyone tell me if the 701 has a better steering lock than an early 690.
My van had a smaller turning circle than the one I bought a few years ago.

When not off roading a pair of these would be nice for hooning around on your local roads with.

I have kept the OE wheels and tyres for doing that, and had some nice orange hub ones built up for off-road use by the wonderful folk at Central Wheels. I went up a couple of teeth on the rear, just to give more control on the trails and, as they are for travel abroad I stuck in heavy duty tubes and also had a crush drive added for comfort.

Well worth doing as it’s a 5 min job to swap between road and trail spec.
