Indeed, there is a killer of a bike to be made, but none of them seem to be tapping into it!

Suzuki are clearly into cutting costs. It's got a steel frame that's shared with the new V-Strom. I suspect that's also why they've replaced the V-twin with a parallel twin. One cylinder block instead of two barrels.

I think it’s to do with catering for the correct number plate as per legislation.

Some people will improve the looks with a “tail tidy” accessory.

Looks pretty good and might be a better option for anybody over 5’8" who finds the Hornet too small, as the Suzuki seat height is 15 mm higher and the bike is 40 mm longer.

The Hornet is far too small for me but sounds like the Suzuki is built for non dwarves.

My390 has that tail light rear no plate arrangement. Its awful for spray which fires off the rear wheel coats my back / helmet / rear seat in road grime.
