2023 NC750X DCT

I sat on one of these today. I’ve ordered an NX500 for 1st March delivery but was looking at a bike that I might fancy when I have only one. They’re low slung so you sit in them & im told (haven’t ridden one) that although the bhp is only slightly more than the NX500 it’s a totally different ride.
Another Honda model that I fancy later is the ADV 750 but we’ll see…

The NX and NC are two completely different bikes. Despite the similar figures on paper the couldn't be more different when ridden. I owned a CB500 and the engine needs to be worked, a very light twitchy feel to the bike and just as economical as the NC, maybe more so. The NC has bags of torque low down and is super stable due to its low weight.
Both great bikes.

I will be taking out this offer -
Band 2 Annual service plan - @ £399
First service @ 600 miles
Year 2 & 3 8000 mile / Annual service.

It works out you save about the cost of a service on this plan.

If you're going to do higher mileage then you need -
Scheduled service plan 3 X 800miles @ £639

I paid £179 for my Honda sh350 1st service
Annual service this year will be £230 approximately
Annual service next year ?
After that I'll do myself.

Even if you just want dealer service 4 the warranty period, it would approximately be £409.
So a no brained really ...

Well, I got it today. Comparing it to the previous generation, it feels a little shorter. Love the colour , it’s nearly the same red as my wing.
The DCT box works well although changes up a bit earlier than I would ( that’ll change as learns my riding style)
It’s only got 480 miles on it, and has the main stand, rack, heated grips and fenda extender on it, im thinking MKS has done me a cracking deal again.
Still to do!.
Bigger screen
Scot oiler
Hugger
Hand guards
And a screen protector for the instruments.
Speaking of instruments, this models dash board is much better than the previous model. You can set up various functions in stages until it suits the individual rider. I’ll play with that tomorrow.
So far, all good 👍

Safe & happy travels Steve.
Although I'm told the grey versions are quicker...😁

I too am looking at a service plan and it is indeed a no brainier if you do less than 8k in the 27 months on the annual plan OR if you do more than 16k in the 27 months on the mileage based plan. However I expect todo around 10k so will need 600 plus 1x@annual plus 1x8k (annual and 8k very different). So it’s not a no brainier for me as I will either ‘waste’ an annual service or over service it for the miles. Ho hum.

Farnham Honda, yes DCT.
Be rude not too, in truth medically it has to be automatic now.
The two Ronnies did a sketch a bit like this ... when the question and answer don't actually "line up" ...... cough !!

What a great engine the NC700/750 is. You either get it, or you dont.Ive had a few and in all honesty, I think I prefer the 700 motor but overall, the 750 bike.

Ok chaps
The hugger is on
The Scot oiler is on
As are the hand guards.
Dash protection and tank pads on the way.
I’m now looking at fitting a tomtom satnav. Have any of you done this ?
If so. How/where did you mount it and where did you pick up a 12v feed from ?

OK this is my old NC750X, but I've bought one 4 my new bike from AliExpress.

Thunderbox for wiring, so much easier on an NC750X

I like the look of that satnav mount, where is it from please.
Don’t think I need the thunderbox, just need a switched live feed.

Oh yes. I ended up with a Puig touring screen as well.

I used the palmer products adjustable screen system and chose the optional nav bar. Mounted a givi KTM 890 screen on the brackets ( because I had one lying round ) and used a four button BMW cradle to mount my nav 6. I took the switched live from the 12v socket in the frunk.
Really solid system and very little wind noise.
