I’m collecting a new ADV 350 in a few days. I want to fit heated grips . It looks like the Oxford ones will do nicely?
I want something that will fit easily and look neat .
Any ADV owners can advise/recommend most suitable aftermarket grips?
Thanks in advance

The Honda ones aren't the warmest ones around, but the setting is displayed on the instrument panel, switch off with the ignition and look integrated. If you're commuting etc in all weathers, then I'd look at other options like the ones in the post above, or the Oxford ones that look similar.

Go for the best, go for Oxford.
I had those on my ADV350. I had the ones with a separate control panel. Wire them to the switched live in the fuse box.
Very hot, and warm up quickly.
Don’t get the ones with the integrated control, they aren’t as hot.

Yes, I’ve got the OEM ones on my Forza, they’re not very good

If I’d have known I’d have gone for aftermarket

Have Oxford on my 750 xadv. Check width, since original grips are quite narrow. There are different widths of Oxfords, and the outer edge may be trimmed if need be. Bullet connectors they come with are shite, and give regular bad connections.

Another vote for the Daytona’s mine have the control button and lamp built into the left grip so it can be covered with your hand at night, easy to fit on the ADV, simple to control with glove and a nice level of heat - turn them on and they go full heat for about 5 mins unless you turn them down, full heat is too warm for me as is full heat on the GS and I use it all year round.

The OEM heated grips are shockingly bad.

Mine comes Wednesday ready for riding on Friday and will have Oxford pro already fitted….even the dealer thought that was a better option than factory 😀

How did you get on with Oxford Pro grips? Are they hot enough for winter gloves?

Does the battery handle the charge OK? Are they wired directly to the battery or to a switched live?

Cheers

Had them on my Vstrom 1050.Have ordered a set for 800, that I wasnt going to farkle ffs

Yes, they look good 👍

Thinking about defecting from the Forza to an ADV but I don’t want the Honda OEM grips as they’re complete shite, was thinking about these or Oxford Pro
I had the Honda OE one on my ADV350 and they were great .
Thought you loved your Forza ?
Sod the 350-go try an X-ADV 😜

I've got these on my Z1000sx, easy to fit, connect straight to the battery and switch off automatically if the voltage drops. Plus they actually work.

You were lucky
I do love the Forza, each bike has its strengths and weaknesses, might try an ADV for the upgraded suspension after 2025, before that there wasn’t much difference, and the wider bars, I’ll be sacrificing weather protection. Not bothered either way about TFT screen

X adv is bigger than I want, the 350 is the right size and weight for town work, any bigger I may as well take the GS

I use my X-ADV all the time for local popping to shops etc . But it’s also taking me to Pyrenees and Alps in May.
You could get the X-ADV and flog that other monstrosity 😜

I have Oxford Hotgrips Pro 2’s on my scoot. I had Pro’s on the last one. I can only compare them to my BMW f700 factory fit. With the BM ones there are two settings, the lowest is the one I use all-of the time. Even then I find myself knocking them off as they get too hot.

With the Oxfords there are five levels of heat and on the lowest I can leave them on , feel the warmth , yet not need to knock them off. On colder days I have upped the heat and in each case no need to knock them off. The thermistor sensors seem to do a great job.

The only issue with the Oxfords is the button is very small and can be tricky to operate .
The UA jobbies have a much larger button , also have 5 heat levels yet are £70 cheaper .

That’s why Ride mag gave them Best Buy .

I’ve used both and would fully agree.

(You press the big flat button under the red diode)

Also I think the UA wiring loom is much better quality with more rugged components .

Cant disagree on the button^^^^^^^^^, its very small. From memory Micky criticised it too. They look very integrated but with winter gloves they maybe a challenge.
