A few years back I rode one for a day at the Honda Dave Thorpe off road school, great bikes. It was one of the original bikes, i.e. before they were supplied in the UK with the power up chip. Can't say it lacked hp for green laning/adventure riding but for racing it would benefit from more.
Great suspension as standard, light, nimble and very capable, you can tell it's based on a thoroughbred competition bike.
As for the short service (600m) intervals that put many potential owners off, I would say this only applies if you're riding it hard everywhere. I'd be happy to do it every 1,000m and it's only dropping a litre of oil out so not exactly difficult.
Dave Lomax of Adventure Spec rode one through Spain, around Morocco then home again, there's a video review somewhere on youtube.
