Definitely does look better in yellow compared to launch blue. Still doesn’t make me exited though.

I’d say it’s perfect . Loads of midrange grunt where you need it . The GSXR750 was a great bike but you had to rev it to make progress as was lacking midrange .I quite like the naked 800 but if I wanted a GSXR I'd much rather get a late 750 (maybe the best sports bike ever?). For me the 800 motor is too soft for a sports bike
THe 800 is an inferior 'sport' bike compared with the 750. The 800 would be soggy on a track day compared to the 750. Don't take my word for it, plenty of reviews say the same. The 800 would be more relaxing for the road but that's not why you buy a sports bikeI’d say it’s perfect . Loads of midrange grunt where you need it . But well like different things
I doubt many GSX8R owners take their bikes on tracks . They use them on the road where it was designed to be used and where it’s much nicer than an old peaky 750.THe 800 is an inferior 'sport' bike compared with the 750. 80% of sports bike riders would be better suited on something like this. The 800 would be more relaxing for the road but that's not why you buy a sports bike
I refer you to my previous post . Case closed m’lud80% of sports bike riders would be better suited on something like this.
It's not a sports bike. It's a softly tuned twin in sports clothing80% of sports bike riders would be better suited on something like this.

I wouldn’t waste your breath . Vanity before sanity strikes again .Exactly the reason why it’s suitable for the majority whom ride sports bike but couldn’t ride a stick up a dogs arse.
It was fun watching these battle with R7's Kove 450's, Aprilia 660 etc etc in the Sportbike class at Portimao yesterday. Bonkers racing
