2025 GB350S

@Arsey cheers on the exhaust, looks alright that!
In touch later today with the dealer.

Apparently talking to the chap yesterday they'll have availability at the end of this month. Not in any particular rush; we'll see. I'll opt for the blue too, I like that! I'm on the fence about the fairing. USB for sure. What exhaust have you gone for?
The one in the post above , strangely enough 😜.

Edited to add , I see you noticed it now .

I’ve seen some nice retro exhausts but they’re £4/500 and also some that look too modern . That Red Rooster was £147 delivered , and it’s hand made by artisans in pristine workshops in India so it’s bound to be top quality .😜
It should be here next week, unlike the bike .
I’m not spending much on a bike that is costing me £3300.

Listening to the bike on videos I think the stock exhaust sounds pretty nice.

Another great review from Kate

Never was a huge fan but the more I watch her the more I like her. No nonsense , seems to be a good rider and covers most things you’d want to know, unlike some , eh kids ? 😜

A mate has just ordered one of these...what a cracking little bike! Ideal mid sized commuter and fun bike, cheap to run too. So glad to see a return of sensible, basic motorbikes with such broad appeal. Interesting engine too...300 miles to a tak and a "low friction" undersquare engine presumably to focus on torque at lowish revs. Love the looks of the bike too, imho, far nicer than the small capacity machines from RE, Triumph etc.

Yet there’s vainglorious cockwombles on Facebook saying they need to bring out the GB500S as 20bhp is not enough , despite never riding the 350.
Honda will bring out the 500 and they’ll say it needs to be a 750.
What is it with Brit biker obsession with power ? It’s pathetic .
Usernamekate shows above that the 350 can do 80 if pushed -fine for a few miles on motorway linking up some nice B roads .
I’m very tempted to take my 350 to Spain in October instead of the Wing .

In other news my exhaust is out for delivery .

Vital power boost from 20.1 to 20.2 bhp .

Hilltop next .

Oh, hang on - bike not due till end of April 😜

20bhp is more than ample for a relatively lightweight B road fun bike, in fact it's perfect! Like having an old Brit single without the reliability woes. with probably better handling and braking. Sounds spot on to me! Some folks have gone round the world on 350s without the need for high power.

Yet others have gone to Loomies on their 1300 WankFest 😜

Too bad Honda aren't bringing them here but it's probably a wise decision on their part because I doubt they'd sell very well after the initial shipments.. Personally I'd probably buy one because I like long stroke, air cooled, motors with heavy flywheel effect. I have to wonder if I'd soon tire of a 400# street bike with only 20 hp though?

Careful...................you're being vainglorious

Exhaust arrived today , 5 days after shipping .
None of your cheap shite.
This was hand crafted by 5 year old artisans in a Delhi slum. 😜

Bike now due third week of April.

If my wife finally decides biking isn't for her, I'm thinking of selling her CB300R as it's on the small side for me and get the GB350. Looks well built and a proper thing

It looks like it could make a great “last bike”, something to meander around on and enjoy its simplicity, like Mickey bought his 125, I could see me getting one of these one day. And probably perfect for a long trip on variable roads.
Look forward to the test with the rivals in Bike

I can tell you now exactly how the Bike test will go.
They’ll prefer the GB350S to the HNTR350 saying it’s got better suspension, and tyres and handles better and is a bigger bike. But they’ll declare the Triumph Speed 400 the winner on the grounds that it’s got twice the power. The bloody thing shouldn’t even be in the same test as it’s not a retro and not in the same price bracket.
I doubt it’s even on the radar for many considering the Honda. Certainly not on mine , plus it’s a horrid buzzy mini bike with snatchy fuelling .

Power alone shouldn’t sway folk, more to a bike than that. Grin factor counts for more
