2026 (?) CB500 Super Four

I like it for the most part. One issue is the beautiful CB400 styled headers will quickly be a corroded mess given the minuscule front mudguard. Pyramid will need to mold an "extender" that is as long as the mud guard itself.

I have completely shut my brain off to anything with more than two cylinders now. I just think twins have the most character. This looks like an updated Hornet.

I’m the opposite, just can’t get interested in anything with a parallel twin, which is almost everything these days :(

Like you I have no desire to own another multi cylinder bike as I prefer twins these days, but I do still appreciate the wail of a four when it's on cam. I still think the engine in my first series 1200 Bandit was one of the nicest ever.

I guess my preference, were I to have one motorcycle, would probably be a twin but I've always found in-line 4's to have their own charm.

You're right the current configuration of the day seems to be 270* parallel twins.
