On 21st
August I have 3 chaps who have asked for a ride out suitable for 2 x GSs and
a KTM990 with pillion so I will be doing some gravel forest roads and grass
if dry, but not more difficult than that. They are only doing Saturday, but
I may have someone doing Sunday too.
In the evening Tamsin Jones is giving a talk on her Dakar adventure this
year, in the Staylittle Village Hall. A jacket potato supper with lots of
fillings and cakes for afterwards is provided. Bunkhouse accommodation is
available for £13 a head next door to the Village Hall, but at the moment
only 5 people want it, and the minimum is 10 for me to book.
There are other groups trail riding too, both on Saturday and Sunday.
Sorry it’s a bit short notice but I didn’t think until now. Price is £38 inc
evening meal and talk for one day’s trail riding, £58 for two days riding
and evening, and £8 for evening only.
Mark G – can you put this on the GS forum, particularly to anyone to join
the two GSs and KTM group?
