24,000 mile service cost?

Hi all,

24,000 miles service due on my R1150GS, anybody advise with the cost? Normally use Rainbow @ Rotherham.

Had mine serviced 2 weeks ago at SPC, 24000, no extras. £252.54 Inc VAT

That's the one where the fuel filter is changed. Make sure you take the bike in with as little fuel as possible. The mechanics will appreciate that. As for the cost, I have no idea what Rainbow charge, but Cannon in Chelmsford quote a price of £260 for the 24k service.

Just had a 24k service done at Rydales in Cardiff.

Additional work included changing the front brake fluid & adjusting the paralever bearings.

Total cost £261.28

Would be about £215 without the extra work.

Seems good value compared to you SE types.

i thought brake fluid change was part of the 24Kservice ?

adjust paralever bearings - 5 mins !!!
