just had a shufty round this forum. Be customers seem generally pleased.

unsurprisingly, this is what i get on their checker:

nobody seems to get anything like 24MB, 8 or 9 looks like the norm, though 1 guy was getting 17MB which is pretty impressive down a phone line.

Wish they'd do the area checks by postcode. Then I'd know whether it was worth getting a BT line installed.

It didn't recognise my phone number (NTL Line) but it did say my postcode was ok andhad access

I'm moderately happy with my 10mbs NTL cable modem...I'm not getting more than 7mbs out of it but that's pretty nice still.......I'm gonna try replacing the co-ax soon 'cos it's a crap installation

Also, it doesn't really matter how crap their service is...it will still help push other service providers into a speed v cost race and that has to be good for us end users
