According to the BMW service schedule, the only additional work specified in the annual service is changing the brake and clutch fluid. That alone shouldn't add that much in cost terms to the price of the 24k service.

In which case,at £430 for a 24000 mile service,you`re getting a right royal shafting.

does'nt the 24000mile service include everything so why do you need an annual service as well

Had my 1200 serviced (12000 K) at PBM in Boulogne on Thursday where they said as far as they were concerned the annual service was included in the price of the main service.
Only charged me €350 for the lot. Worth a day trip on the chunnel.

I was getting similar quotes then contacted Steptoe who lives very close to me and he charged less than half this. Very good service and loans you a bike. If you live anywhere near South West London he's worth considering

Although not sure how he fits in his workshop with the bike, barely enough room to swing the preverbial cat.
