2610 battery connection

Hi just wanted to ask,

As a temporary measure can i connect my garmin to the battery charger connector that is already on the battery.

Will be purchasing a starcom unit in the next few weeks, so not going to be a permanent option, for the moment.

Any further suggestion, by the way have a honda vfr vtec, Like to view the site for the banter and great advice i have received so far

As long as it has an inline fuse, I've wired direct to battery with inline fuse works great

No good

Got the male/female connector, from maplins, fitted it to the bike power lead and fitted it to the bike,

but no power to unit, only get the power if it is fitted directly to the battery.

As i said before this is only a temp measure till a starcom is fitted next month.
