Otherwise AFAIK you can't swap the cards from GPS to GPS.

And we leave for Norway on friday morning he's tried to load his mapsource software on to a laptop but it won't install

Use that unlock code when loading the maps onto the card... Then It'll work on his GPS.. (but not yours until you do the same again using your Unlock code...) Al...
