2610 External antenna needed

[Rescue]

can some kind person recommend an external antenna for my 2610. My heated windscreen is playing funny beggars with the signal so am after a plug in antenna.

What type and where can i get one from ?

Works great I get full strength and even get the WAAS to work accurate to 6ft. available as straight or 90 deg very neat and waterproof I have mine on top of my works van

Yep. I got one of those too, and it works fine. Just ran the wire behind the door trim and out onto the roof of the car.

This may attarct thieves. I put the antenna inside the rear door near the LED brake lights. It's not visible from the outside. The car is a Laguna station wagon with a glassfiber rear door.

Good point. Mine's a Laguna, but doesn't have the benefit of a glass-fibre hatch. Perhaps it will work inside the plastic wings.

I had the same problem on my Citroen Picasso, so I bought this from ebay and it gets such a strong signal everywhere!
